Pre-reading: talk about
Winter in other countries.
While reading: Students find new vocabulary, do a power point presentation with the new words add images , make a list of some senteces in the book in tenses given (past tense)
Answer questions about
The text: -What is the main idea of the book?
-Did the children like the snow?
-What they decided to make?
-What was the weather like?
-Did the children give a present to the snow man?
-What was the present the children gave to the snow man?
-What was the holiday they celebrate?
It is possible to make a snow man in your country? Why?

Choose words from the box below to fill in the gaps in the story. Then listen to the story –

La profesora realizará a los estudiantes preguntas a cerca de la crencia o no en fantasmas.
Se les pedirá a los estudiantes leer y pronunciar el texto


While Reading: Los estudiantes identificarán los diferentes tiempos verbales y los clasificarán de acuerdo a si son presente, pasado, presente perfecto e identificación de past perfect.
Identificación de idea central y tópico del texto.
Post Reading:  Los estudiantes realizarán diapositivas tendientes a utilizar en contexto el nuevo vocabulario encontrado en el texto.
Los estudiantes realizarán un  párrafo corto donde pongan de manifiesto su opinión sobre el tema en cuestión en el texto” Los fantasmas o el regreso después de la muerte”.
